With just $50, you can prevent Veteran homelessness.

A few weeks ago, we met a Marine Corps Veteran in his 70s with $8 in his bank account and a warning that his heat would soon be shut off due to recent utility bills he was unable to pay – just as temperatures were dropping below freezing.

Because of your support, we were able to provide immediate assistance to keep his heat on. But more importantly, it led to a deeper conversation about underlying issues, like food insecurity and income stability. In just a few weeks, that Veteran has been able to set up food stamps and will be meeting with a service officer to work on upgrading his disability benefits as a result of exposure to Agent Orange in the early 1970s.

This chain of life-changing events started with someone like you donating $50. Please consider making a gift before midnight on #GivingTuesday to help us reach our $25,000 goal to provide emergency assistance to Veterans like James this holiday season.
